Honorific expression-‘Meshiageru ‘is used with superiors

For example -

自分より上の人に言う場合は 

Use it when talking to your superiors

先生　これお菓子　を召し上がって　ください

Teacher, please eat these sweets.

Rather than using 

先生　これお菓子　を食べって　ください

Teacher, please eat these sweets.
